March 25, 2011

On March 25-29 ETRONIKA participates in MENA ICT Week and WITSA Trade Mission to Damascus, Syrian Arab Republic.

MENA ICT Week, the premier ICT event in the Arab world, Middle East, and North Africa is an annual platform bringing together key industry players to discuss the need for a pan-Arab strategy toward sustainable ICT development in the Arab world. This annual event is organized by the Syrian Computer Society (SCS) and The Arab ICT Organization (IJMA3).

MENA ICT Week will include number of other parallel events such as WITSA Trade Mission, Arab Golden Chip Awards (AGCA), IJMA3 Annual Meeting, Business Matching Workshops, and Cham Expo 2011.

The hosting of WITSA meeting and Trade Mission during MENA ICT Week in Syria is one of the most important events in the area. WITSA is a consortium of over 70 national ICT industry associations including Lithuanian association INFOBALT, a member of which ETRONIKA is. WITSA was founded in 1978 as the leading voice of the ICT industry all over the world and it has since increasingly participated in advocacy in international public policy that affects the global information infrastructure.
