Etronika inspires young people to get digital

May 28, 2012

Oh boy, did we have fun last week! ETRONIKA was visited by Vilnius Laisvės High School students and there was screams and laughs all around.

This visit is part of the European e-Skills Week. The European e-Skills Week 2012 focuses on the continuing demand for skilled Information and communication technologies (ICT) users and professionals to drive the competitive and innovative Europe. This exciting campaign seeks to inform students, young professionals and SMEs about the range of opportunities that the ICT-related jobs present.

We tried to inspire young people to get digital and choose the creative and inspiring career path. Our employees answered every tricky question, and showed our R&D work. Also, we had a lot of fun playing games, and the most active students were awarded.

European e-Skills Week 2012 initiative is led by the European Commission’s DG Enterprise and Industry and is coordinated by DIGITALEUROPE and European Schoolnet, in conjunction with twenty-four national partners and stakeholders.
